In what can only be described as pure Go Ducks fashion, the pair interview Oregon Head Man Chip “the Skip” Kelly and get his thoughts on the match up. 10. Good v. Evil. BeavTrash Nation is evil, and good shall always prevail.
9. Lemons & Limes v. Oranges. In terms of citris, that’s 2 on 1… and remember, Black isn’t a color – it’s the absence thereof.
8. Ocho Verde. Too much Masoli during his peak office hours…. November is when the Ducks Dual Threat brings it.

I’m liking the song guys. Well done. Another good podcast too even though you veered off from the “family-friendliness” there toward the end.
I’m with you guys and just don’t think the BeavTrash have the fire power to put outscore the Ducks. They didn’t top 50 points at all during the season and only hit in the 40s twice and that was against the Washington schools. I just think it’s funny how people say the Beavs scored 38 on us last year w/o Quiz but fail to mention how much more stout our defense is this year. That should negate any additional firepower they have on the field this year. Sure, Stanford put over 50 on us but that was a road game and OSU is NOT Stanford on offense. The most we’ve given up at home was 36 to Purdon’t when we were still gellin’. Since after the Utah game, we have been giving up an average of 12.5 points at Autzen. We gave up 20 to USC and 21 to ASU so if we want to be generous and assume we continue the small climb, I’ll spot OSU 23 points. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we held them to below 20 though. So here’s my prediction: 52-23 Ducks. It seems ludicrous to predict in the 50 point range but it can easily happen. Even more, it makes last year’s score just ridiculous and makes me laugh every time I see the gaudy #s we put up. Priceless.
Did you guys see the video with Chip Kelly? I believe it was after Monday’s practice and had most of the team running from the Mo Center to the locker room. I saw a lot of different unis including some yellow pants (which they did away with this year, I thought). Do you guys know if those are just practice unis or will that give a peak into what they might wear? I’m still waiting to see the Carbon Fiber helmet and is my call for the Rose Bowl. Then, when they don’t bring it out, it will be my call for the Rose Bowl too.
Uni prediction: Steel pants, yellow jersey, Carbon Fiber helmet, Black with yellow shoes.
Chip Kelly has been saving some things for this game. We all know what kind of plays and schemas he has that have not been used much this season. Probably because they don’t have to. He knew this game would be huge.
I mean fuck do what works and what ever the Ducks have been doing is working. How many time have we seen Masoli just walk in the end zone on the same play all season. I just don’t get it. It is some crazy wizardry shit or something. I love it.
But the Tool box will be unloaded a bit the next 2. Hurry up Offence to the max. Lets see that Conditioning we have seen and heard of all season.

Chip Kelly has been talking about keeping traditions from past and has done it well. As far as jerseys I call Traditional Green and yellow the next 2 games. What ever crazy concoction they brew up for the CW and the throw backs for the RO………Win this shit.

Nice show, guys! I cannot tell you how STOKED I am to see the Beavs get WAXED at Autzen Thursday night! The hype is almost over, and it’s almost time to get down to business. You guys will love this anecdote, since it relates directly to your t-shirt challenge…
I’m a HUGE Duck fan, raised 4 miles from Autzen Stadium, and I fell in love with… an OSU alumnus. She is an OSU football season ticket holder and a Duck hater. I mean… she HATES the Ducks. It’s almost more than I can take sometimes, but we make it work, cause there’s more to life than football (barely).
Anyway… she came home the other night after having been to the salon with her girlfriends to get a manicure and pedicure, and she had a surprise for me… You guessed it. She waxed her BEAVER! Please send me a t-shirt so I can return the surprise to her when I come home!

What up Muchas & Beverage?? man i am pumped for thursday, biggest civil war ever ! LaMichael is gonna tear em’ apart, and show up jacjizz. Is there even a comparison? i would take LaMichael over jacjizz anyday, and deep down inside, i think any beaver fan would too. I mean why does he get all the hype?? he had 1 good game last year against, SC, he had like what 186 yards, on like 37 carries??? thats 5 yards a carrie, James had like 183 on 24 carries which is 7.6 yards a carry, come on man !, it just pisses me off that jacjizz gets all the recongition, i mean James owns the record for most rushing yards by a freshman in Pac-10 history, look at all the great backs that have been in the Pac-10, Oj Simpson, Reggie Bush, Jonathin Stewart, Lendale White, the list just goes on and on, and LaMichael James surpassed all of them. and Beavtrash just has perhaps the shitiest left handed QB in the Pac-10 since Jason Fife (hate to dis on a Duck but he was terrible) the beavtrash just don’t even match up , The Ducks Gang Green 2.0 D is way to quick and hard hitting, we will shut down jacjizz, we will win the civil war, and we will go to,and win the Rose Bowl.

Olie, I agree that Chip the Skip has some tricks up his sleeves. Maybe not brand new plays (risky this late in the season) but definitely some variation on some of the usual stuff. Why? CK1 is just that good!

And Muchas I wouldn’t count out “new” plays. Keep in mind that what’s new to us is not new to the players. Remember the play for the Arizona game that resulted in a TD pass to Big Ed Dickson that tied the game to send it into OT? They have not used that play since the Boise game last season in Autzen (which also resulted in a TD). This Offence is all about risks. Big nut sacks.

Rumor is the Ducks will be sporting “throwback” helmets (keep in mind it should have the O), green throwback jerseys and white pants. BUT the helmets will just have a throwback green color with the new “O” logo

The there were some killer plays but I was surprised to see Dickson a non-factor. Loved seeing Blount come in. How cool was that to have him get a score. Game was closer than it should have been. We gift-wrapped 10 points for them on turnovers and then opted not to put up 3 or 7 at the end there. I loved the fact that we pretty much shut Quizz down. With all of the BeaverTrash touting how good he was and saying he was better than James. Then James puts up over 160 years and 3 TDs against the best run D in the PAC-10. I kept telling Rodent fans that AZ St had the best run D in the PAC before the played us too.
Well Muchas, it looks like the Rumor was right about the unis. Pretty sweet looking. Now, it’s time to break out the Carbon fiber for the Rose Bowl. The only thing I can see that might keep that from happening is that Ohio St. has a similar look.
OK, so here’s the question: We’ll get a podcast in a few days covering the Civil War and we’ll get one before and after the Rose Bowl, but what do you guys have for us in between? There has to be something!
I have a “Duck You” suggestion for your next podcast: Mine goes out to all of those BeaverTrash that are whining about the call to put Blount in and saying Chip Kelly made a bad call, it was only to win, and now have no respect for him. Whatever! If it was a football decision, Blount would have played in the loss to Stanford and definitely would have played against Arizona. We could have definitely used him in that game. Unbelievable. Stop crying and making excuses for why you lost.

Not quite sure what the podcast plans are for the rest of the season or the off season for that matter but we’ll be figuring it out soon. In the meantime it’s all GO DUCKS!! We both just booked our shit up for LA and New Years!
