Lord Beverage’s Top 10 Most Hated Teams in College Football.
10. Notre Dame – Jesus obviously doesn’t care about you.
9. BYU – Average age of student athlete = 27, average # of wives = 4.2.
8. Oklahoma – I think we really recovered that kick.
7. Washington State – the team that cried Wulf.
6. Cal – Golden Shower on the Golden Bears
5. Colorado – you’re still a bunch of NewWeasels to me.
4. Washington – Kenny Wheaton Bitches!!!
3. Boise State – gross.
2. Arizona – Shotgun a Diet Stoops and Cactus!
1. BeavTrash – I hope you all come down with Sheep Flu.
Lord Beverage’s Top 10 Reasons the Ducks win @ Arizona this week:
10. Momentum. AZ just lost to Cal – killing whatever Mo they had.
9. Special Teams. Ducks have the decided edge here.
8. #8, Ocho Verde. Masoli will expode for 6 TDs in this one (3 rush, 3 pass).
7. Honk for Gronk. AZ is just not the same without #48 working the middle.
6. Virginity. AZ has never been host to College Game day – and nobody’s really good their first time.
5. 5 O-Lineman. Oregon’s Beef up front will overpower an AZ Defense that had trouble with Cal’s O-Line.
4. LeBackfield. Le Mizzle my Jizzle will drop another 150 +, and LeBlount Force Trauma might “punch” one in the Endzone too!
3. Stoops v. Kelly. The Ducks will be better coached, prepared, and focused.
2. Karma. AZ has taken 2 of 3 and cheered when DD went down with the knee. Karma.
1. Simply Superior. The Ducks are the better team and will confirm that fact in Tuscon.
Another nice job guys and another win for the Ducks. Not a bad game but could have been better. Need to stop the turnovers and other near-turnovers. Would have like to see LGB in there toward the end. LMJ had most of his yards on his first 11 carries and then only when like 30-40 more on the next 11. Needed to change it up there and see how they handle a bruising back like LGB. Anyway, the 2nd half was a bit of a surprise being held to field goals in the 4th. Didn’t really break it down to who was in so it could have been backups in there.
This game against AZ was making me nervous until they lost to Cal this past weekend and they didn’t even have Best in there. I know Kelly will be looking that tape over very closely this week. Not sure what’s up with the nasty all-red unis but at least they will be easy to see and find. As far as the Ducks jerseys go, I say we break out the steel pants, white/grey jersey, and the Carbon helmets. It would be nice to have them for the Civil War but how cool would it be to have them out for College Game Day and the national audience? Granted, the Civil War could be huge and bring national exposure too but there’s a good chance Game Day wont be there. My prediction: 20-41 Ducks.
BTW there Lord Beverage, your chances of guessing the correct uniform would go up exponentially if you would stop choosing non-white jerseys for the road games. Right now, you have a zero chance of getting it correct for this coming week.
Thanks guys and keep up the great work.
N1tro
I agree that my “green, yellow, green” predictions have been faulty thus far, but remember that the yellow jersey has been used as a road jersey in the past (granted in previous unifrom designs). Remember back to Oregon @ Mississippi State (Kellen Clemen’s first start), we wore the all highlighter yellows on the road.
Now I realize that we have already worn the Yellow Jersey as a home color (v. WAZZU), but as far as I know, it is still eligible to be used as a road color.
Alas, you’re probably right. I think this game calls for the Chrome. I know Muchas G would agree!
Whatever we wear, we will undoubtedly look better than Diet Stoops and the RedPuss.
Lord Beverage,
I don’t remember that road game where Oregon wore yellow but I will take your word for it. Since then though, the rules seem to have changed. The visiting team MUST wear white.

Contrasting Colors
ARTICLE 3. a. Players of opposing teams shall wear jerseys of contrasting
colors, and the visiting team shall wear white jerseys. White jerseys may
be worn by the home team when the teams have agreed before the season.
The only exception to this that I can remember was a year or so ago when both USC and UCLA wore their home jerseys in that rival game. It was agreed on well before the game and several column writers made a big deal out of it.
I agree though, whatever we do wear, it will be so much better than what the RedPuss have to don.
N1tr0 – you’re the man… I think you’re 100% right on the uniform combo for this week.
I’m getting so pumped for another Go Ducks weekend… it’s simply reduckulous.
Well sweet muther of Musgrave! My prediction is Duck’d.
Nicely played N1tro… nothing like a direct citation to applicable and controlling precedence. Go Ducks to you good sir.
However, allow me to at least save my own ass here… the Ducks most certainly wore Yellow on the road, in 2003, v. Mississippi State in Starkville… a 42-34 Ducks victory.

Allow me to officially change my uniform prediction then:
Green Helmets, Yellow Jerseys, Green Pants. Wait, isn’t that the same prediction from before? Duck Yes it is!!!
GO DUCKS!!!
LOL. I like it, stay true to yourself.
Well, thanks Lord B and Muchas G for the comments and the link.
It looks like we were both off on the uniform prediction for AZ. Black pants, white with grey #s, and the green helmets (but they sure looked like the blacks ones at certain times in the light).
What a great but stressful game. Can’t wait for your next podcast to cover it and the now huge Civil War.
